Dr. Buchanan and Dr. Elliff are both board certified general ophthalmologists. They are both Associate Clinical Professors at University of Colorado's School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology.  

Dr. Buchanan and Dr. Elliff are proud to be able to offer the services of Dr. Michael Taravella,  Dr. Christopher Gelston, and Dr. Leonard Seibold of the University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology .  All three are ophthalmologists and professors at University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology, and are performing cataract surgery at Sterling Regional MedCenter on referral from Dr. Buchanan.  

Patients are able to have their cataract surgery performed at Sterling Regional MedCenter by Dr. Taravella, Dr. Gelston, or Dr. Seibold with pre-operative and post-operative care done at Sterling Eye Center with Dr. Buchanan.  Patients are able to choose from a variety of premium implants such as presbyopic correcting, astigmatism correcting and monofocal lenses.  Dr. Taravella and Dr. Gelston also specialize in refractive surgery/vision correction surgery (LASIK) at University of Colorado, while Dr. Seibold specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma including new minimally invasive surgeries.
